This Wednesday, Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Department of Homeland Security (DHS), and Federal Communications Commission (FCC) will be conducting a Nationwide Emergency Alert System (EAS) test at 1 p.m. The three minute nationwide message will run on all radio and TV stations and will interrupt normal programming. Officials are trying to warn residents in advance about the message to eliminate anxiety during the test. Here is a link to more information.
