If you are interested in being elected to the Deerfield Public Schools District 109 Board of Education, you can pick up a packet from the District Center (517 Deerfield Road in Deerfield) beginning on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. Office hours are 8:00am to 4:30pm Monday through Thursday, and 8:00am to 4:00pm on Fridays.

The packet will include the nomination papers you must file as a candidate, as well as helpful information from the Lake County Clerk and the Illinois Association of School Boards.

Please note that the first day that you may circulate petitions is September 25, 2012; the filing period is from December 17 to December 24, 2012.
