Starting with the 2013-2014 school year, District 109 will implement a new middle school schedule at Caruso and Shepard. All middle school staff members have been working since last spring to develop this “team schedule,” which has proven to deliver improved academic and social-emotional results for students, while allowing for greater collaboration and professional growth for teachers and staff.

The middle school principals are holding a community meeting for parents and community members to learn more about the implementation of the new schedule, and to hear ways in which the schedule may evolve in the future to meet the needs of students in our ever-changing society.
