The Board of Education recognizes that acceptable behavior is essential to the development of responsible and self-disciplined citizens and to implementation of an effective school program. Acceptable behavior is based on respect for one's self and for the worth and human dignity of others. Development of such acceptable behavior in students is a dual function of the home and of the school.
