Children should arrive at school no earlier than 8:25 a.m. and should go home immediately after dismissal. Children may return to play on the playground with parental permission.
CLOTHING: Children are required to wear gym shoes for physical education class, so please keep a spare pair in your child’s locker. For very wet weather, you may want to have a spare pair of jeans and socks in the locker so your child can change into dry clothes if needed.
RECESS: Recess is held outdoors every day except for rain and severe cold. Please dress your child accordingly.
ABSENCES: If your child is ill, please call the school office before 8:40 a.m. (948-5151, press 3) on the morning of his/her first day of absence or if he/she doesn’t return after lunch.
HOMEWORK: If parents wish to pick up homework, they need to call school to request it. However, homework will ONLY be available to be picked up in the vestibule after 3:25 and before 4:00.
TARDINESS: If your child is late to school, he/she must go directly to the office and check in with the nurse or secretary before going to class.
