MONDAY: Students will be given a writing prompt that should be completed for homework and returned to school on Wednesday. Students must write at least five sentences. Ask your child to check his/her own paper for capitalization, appearance, punctuation, and spelling.
TUESDAY: Students should continue to work on their writing. This is a good day to reread and edit. *Remember your LMC books tomorrow!*
WEDNESDAY: Students will be given math or reading homework. This is due on Thursday.
LMC BOOKS DUE TODAY!
THURSDAY: Students will be given a math or reading assignment. This is due on Friday.
EVERY NIGHT: Second graders should read 15-20 minutes a night. This can be reading on their own, reading to a sibling or parent, or listening to a story.
AT LEAST 3 TIMES A WEEK:
1.) Practice spelling ring words!
2.) Go on Math Facts!
