The New Teacher Induction and Mentor Program is designed to support the success of teachers new to District 109 and to serve as a critical component to the district wide program of staff development. It is the philosophy of District 109 that an induction and mentoring program provides systemic and sustained assistance to new teachers. The program will contribute to their success by providing support and opportunities for them to become reflective practitioners.
