The number of volunteers who make up the Wilmot Elementary School PTO is amazine – and even more amazing are the commitment, caring, and talent of those volunteers. Thank you for putting in your time to make Wilmot the best school for our children! The information in this section of the Web site will give you a good start to the year, and will be a great place to return to throughout the year.
Important Notes on Procedures and CommunicationPlease plan ahead! Take note now of your deadlines, and think about when you want to communicate your event or project to the Wilmot community. Attend PTO meetings to let others know what’s going on with your committee, to get volunteers, to get ideas, and to get a sense of how your committee fits into the big PTO picture. The deadline for the Weekly is Tuesday by 8:00pm via e-mail to the Weekly editors. If you miss the deadline, you might miss your chance to publicize your committee’s information. We can send separate e-mails, but we don’t want to overuse that communication or families will stop paying attention to our e-mails! Also, use your VP as the valuable resource she is!
**IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT COPIES**
The PTO does not have a copier in the school or in the district to make copies of forms, fliers, etc. But, Office Max offers an easy option for committees who need to make copies to send home in backpacks. You can drop off your order at the store, or just e-mail your file to impress0057@officemax.com, specify the number of copies (no color copies!), and they will deliver your order to Wilmot! You must pay in advance, or have a check waiting at Wilmot for the delivery person. You can pay for the copies and be reimbursed, or get the total cost and request a check from the Treasurer -- just please give here a few days' notice. You must attach all receipts when requesting reimbursement. To understand the process of making purchases, receiving reimbursement, and making deposits, please read the detailed financial transaction information here.
Please call if you have any questions, comments or ideas. We're looking forward to a great year together!

Wilmot Elementary PTO Co-Presidents
Please note that all committees accepting any checks need to include the insufficient funds policy. This policy reads: The Wilmot Elementary School PTO incurs a bank charge for all checks submitted for deposit that are returned to the PTO due to insufficient funds in your account or closed accounts. It is the policy of the PTO that this charge of $10 will be passed along to the families whose checks are returned.
