Welcome to the Shepard Middle School website. Here at Shepard, we believe that strong communication between home and school is vital to the success of our students. We use a variety of media for communication. For static, unchanging information such as curriculum, school, and district policies, and teacher contact information, please consult our website. The PTSO sends out a monthly newsletter with timely information regarding PTSO events and deadlines. In addition, each newsletter contains news and information from the Shepard office about items such as high school registration, student-led conferences, student accolades, upcoming events, as well as parenting strategies and tips. Approximately every ten days, I send out a “Shepard in Short” email blast to all Shepard parents with up-to-the-minute information about pending events and meetings, flyers for local activities, and bulletins from the superintendent.
