Child Find Screening

  • Deerfield Public School District 109 participates in an ongoing process of locating, identifying and evaluating preschool children ages three, four, and five, who may show delays in one or more of the following areas:
    • Cognitive Development
    • Social, Emotional or Behavior Skills
    • Speech Language
    • Fine or Gross Motor Development
    • Pre-academic Skills
    • Vision or Hearing
If you are unsure if your child is meeting age-appropriate developmental milestones, it may be helpful to discuss this with your child’s preschool teacher and/or pediatrician.
For more information about Child Find, or details on the next opportunity for your child to participate in a Child Find screening, please contact MC Staley at 847-945-5895 ext 2155.
