Hello! I'm Erin Christopoulos and this is my 7th year at Kipling Elementary. In my time here I have held a few different roles, beginning as the school's Spanish teacher and then becoming a 2nd-grade teacher. This year marks my 4th year as the school's RtI Specialist, and I love what I do in this role! Working as a teacher to support our students but also serving as a resource to my colleagues and our Kipling families is genuinely a wonderful balance. Prior to joining at Kipling I taught 8th grade for four years in Yorkville, IL. I spent time developing their Spanish and Communications curriculum as well as building their RtI protocols from the ground up.
I presently live in Park Ridge with my husband, Jason; our son, Theo (4); and our daughter, Stella (2). In my downtime, I enjoy cooking, baking, and traveling. I also am presently earning my Teacher Leadership administrative certification through National Louis. It has been a great opportunity to be reflective of my practice as a teacher and how to strengthen my working relationships with administrators, teachers, and families--it is all incredibly applicable to my work at Kipling!
