Kipling School is proud to announce that the winner of the 5th Annual Meghan Bolon Kindness Award is Hazel Asner!
In December 2017, Kipling School lost a dear friend and teacher, kindergarten teacher Meghan Bolon. Mrs. Bolon was a kind and caring teacher. She showed incredible love and dedication to her students.
In an effort to honor Mrs. Bolon’s memory, for the last five years, the school has given a kindness award to a Kipling fifth grader. In choosing this student, the Kipling staff looked for an individual who exemplified the qualities of perseverance in the face of difficulty and kindness to others.
Congratulations to Hazel and best of luck in middle school next year!
Our district communications office did a story about the history of the Meghan Bolon Award as well as the garden planted in Kipling in her honor back in 2021. You can watch the story below.
